Venezuelan human rights activist Andre\u00edna Chac\u00edn has called for strict adherence to the electoral will of the Venezuelan people as the nation navigates a potential Democratic transition<\/a>. Her statements come amid significant international attention following recent comments by former U.S. President donald trump<\/a> regarding Venezuela’s political future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chac\u00edn emphasized that the results of the July 28 presidential election are clear. She stated that Venezuelans chose Edmundo Gonz\u00e1lez Urrutia as president, following the disqualification of opposition leader Mar\u00eda Corina Machado. Any transitional government, she insisted, must be led by these elected authorities and their chosen ministerial team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
