The Panama Canal Authority<\/a> (ACP) unveiled a new digital job portal this Thursday, February 26. The platform, empleos.pancanal.com, is designed to streamline hiring for more than 20 current technical and professional vacancies.<\/p>\n

This launch represents a key component of the waterway’s broader Strategic Vision for 2025-2035. Officials framed the move as essential for modernizing talent acquisition to meet future operational demands.<\/p>\n

Rub\u00e9n P\u00e9rez, the Canal’s Vice President of Human Capital, emphasized the strategic importance of the new tool. He stated the portal will enhance the organization’s ability to compete for skilled workers in a dynamic market.<\/p>\n

“The new jobs portal strengthens our capacity to attract and select suitable talent for each role,” P\u00e9rez said. Notable technical openings include a Maritime Cargo Management Technician Lead, interdisciplinary engineers for electrical and mechanical systems, and a Civil Engineer. The list also features a Project Manager and a Project Financial Analyst.<\/p>\n

Other professional roles seek a Software Development Specialist, an Environmental Protection Specialist, and an expert in Occupational health and safety<\/a>. The ACP is additionally recruiting for trades such as an ironworker, a carpenter, and assistants for office and recreational activities.<\/p>\n

Student assistant positions for administrative and craft work are also available. These opportunities are offered on both the Atlantic and Pacific sides of the Panama Canal<\/a>.<\/p>\n
