Panama City, Panama. Three Black Hawk<\/strong> helicopters from the United States Joint Task Force Bravo landed in Panama on Saturday. The National Aeronaval Service, known as Senan, confirmed their arrival as part of bilateral cooperation activities.<\/p>\n

The aircraft include two HH-60 models and one UH-60 model. They will take part in a jungle survival training<\/strong> exercise at the Almirante Crist\u00f3bal Col\u00f3n Naval Air Base. Specialized personnel from Senan, the National Police, and the National Border Service, known as Senafront, will train alongside US Marines.<\/p>\n

This deployment continues existing cooperation agreements between the two nations. The helicopters will remain on Panamanian soil until August, according to an official statement.<\/p>\n

Training supports Panamax 2026 multinational exercise<\/h2>\n

During their stay, the helicopters will support activities for the multinational exercise Panamax 2026<\/a>. This annual regional exercise aims to strengthen coordination against threats to maritime security.<\/p>\n

Authorities emphasized that Panamax 2026 focuses on risks affecting operations linked to the Panama Canal. The training directly supports Canal of Panama security<\/a> and regional stability.<\/p>\n

Senan stressed that all activities will respect national sovereignty. The presence of foreign personnel and aircraft will not affect Panama’s independence, officials confirmed.<\/p>\n

Joint Task Force Bravo operates from Soto Cano Air Base in Honduras. Its deployment to Panama reflects deepening security ties between the two countries.<\/p>\n
