Panama will host the Organization of American States General Assembly from June 20 to 27. The event carries a price tag of nearly 15 million dollars. Foreign Minister Javier Mart\u00ednez-Acha V\u00e1squez confirmed the investment this week.<\/p>\n

The gathering will bring together 86 delegations and five regional presidents. Expenses cover hotels, transportation, security, food, logistics, communications, and translation services. June 22 Ceremony and Historic Document Transfer<\/h2>\n

A solemn session of heads of state and government is scheduled for June 22. This event commemorates the bicentennial of the Congress of Panama<\/a>, one of the most significant diplomatic gatherings in the week’s agenda. The official installation of the OAS General Assembly will follow. Secretary General of the OAS and President Mulino will deliver speeches.<\/p>\n
