President Jos\u00e9 Ra\u00fal Mulino signed an Executive Decree<\/a> ordering all national and municipal public offices to close at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23. The measure allows government employees to support the Panama National Team in its second match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Panama faces Croatia at Toronto Stadium in Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The decree, numbered No. 20 and dated June 22, 2026, mandates uninterrupted work schedules until the early closure time. No entity can establish different hours than those specified in the document. The government wants workers to join the national celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
