All four people aboard a Cessna 206<\/a> escaped injury Thursday morning when their commercial flight made an emergency landing near Playa Muerto. The Darien plane crash happened after the pilot reported a sudden loss of engine revolutions while traveling toward the coastal town of Jaqu\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Panama’s Civil Aviation Authority, known as the AAC, confirmed that the aircraft went down in a remote area of Darien province. The pilot had no choice but to set the plane down after engine power became unstable. Despite the difficult terrain, the landing was controlled enough to protect everyone on board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
