The 26th edition of Panama Fashion Week<\/strong> begins tomorrow at the Ciudad de las Artes<\/a>, bringing together established designers, emerging talent<\/a>, and industry experts<\/a> through September 27. Organizers describe the event as ambitious, pairing runway presentations with a series of talks aimed at addressing shifting consumer habits, sustainability<\/a>, and the financial realities<\/a> of building a fashion brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event opens Thursday with a benefit showcase and runs through Sunday, featuring designers from Panama, Spain, Costa Rica, and Brazil. Thursday’s programming begins at 4:00 p.m. with Atardecer Rosa, a charity event hosted by the Panamanian Jewish Foundation to benefit the National Oncology Institute. The showcase features collections from Grau, Judy Attie, La Brise Label, Mois\u00e9s Sandoya, and Tatiana Uliantzeff. Later that evening, San Mal\u00f3 presents with accessories by Estefanny Pe\u00f1a, followed by the Hendrick’s x John Bejarano collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brand development takes center stage when communicators Jessica Barboza and Stefanie de Roux present on brand creation and expansion. Carmela Osorio and In\u00e9s Sainz, the visionaries behind Spanish textile brand Cason\u00e1, will discuss building their company from the ground up. Image consultant Franklin Ramos Toscano closes the first day with “Beyond Fashion.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday’s talks begin with Ximena Mastellari, founder and creative director of The X Avenue, presenting “From Content to Cultbrand.” Business consultant Johanna Isaac Fadul follows with a session on transforming a fashion brand into a profitable business.
