Rosa, a resident of Juan D\u00edaz de Ant\u00f3n in Cocl\u00e9 province<\/a>, won a $5 raffle ticket that turned into a private dinner with Panama City Mayor<\/a> Mayer Mizrachi and Dominican television host Clarissa Molina<\/a>. The celebrity fundraising campaign<\/a> raised money for container homes<\/a> destined for families who lost their houses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dinner took place Friday night, October 23, at a restaurant in Panama City. Rosa arrived with her boyfriend Jos\u00e9 and spent the evening talking with the mayor, who organized the “Dinner with Mayer” initiative. Molina, known for her work on Univision, joined the gathering and shared the evening with the winners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The raffle operated as a celebrity fundraising campaign with tickets priced at $5 each. Proceeds went directly to “Chanting pa’ la gente,” a housing initiative<\/a> led by Mizrachi that constructs palliative homes using shipping containers. The project targets people and families who have lost their homes and need temporary safe shelter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Citizen donations and private sector support fund the construction program. The container homes offer an alternative housing solution for residents facing difficult circumstances across Panama. Each unit provides a secure living space while families work toward permanent housing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
