An overnight blaze at Flamenco Marina along Panama City<\/a>‘s Amador Causeway<\/a> destroyed two vessels late Saturday, prompting a full investigation by national fire authorities<\/a>. The Amador marina fire<\/a><\/strong> broke out around 11:20 p.m. on October 24 in the Anc\u00f3n district, according to the Benem\u00e9rito Cuerpo de Bomberos de la Rep\u00fablica de Panam\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No injuries or fatalities were reported. Firefighters from the Panama Regional Zone deployed five vehicles to contain the flames, including three extinguishing units numbered 294, 769, and 856, plus two operational support vehicles numbered 453 and 420.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emergency Response and Fire Suppression<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Crews managed to fully extinguish the fire after an intensive operation at the popular tourist marina<\/a>. The two boats sustained material damage, though officials have not yet released estimates on the financial losses or the vessels’ specifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The incident drew a rapid response given the marina’s proximity to restaurants, shops, and pedestrian areas along the causeway. Firefighters worked to prevent the flames from spreading to nearby docks or additional watercraft moored in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
