A public registry fire<\/strong> broke out Monday afternoon at the central headquarters<\/a> of Panama’s Public Registry<\/a> on V\u00eda Espa\u00f1a<\/a>, triggering a rapid response from the national fire department<\/a> that prevented injuries and structural damage, officials confirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The incident, classified as a “conato de incendio” or minor fire outbreak<\/a>, was controlled quickly by the Cuerpo de Bomberos de Panam\u00e1<\/a>. No one was hurt, and the building’s structure and stored documentation remained intact, according to a statement from the institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Firefighters arrived at the V\u00eda Espa\u00f1a location shortly after the incident was reported on November 2. Their intervention prevented what could have escalated into a larger emergency affecting one of Panama’s most critical administrative facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
